I should have been British

Have you ever been around someone for so long, you start to pick up words they use that you would have never used if not for them? For example, Johnny (yes, I'm going to be cliche and pick the name Johnny) becomes your best friend. You and Johnny hang out every day. Johnny likes to say the word, "rad." At first, you're thinking, "If I hear Johnny say 'rad' one more time..." But then you catch yourself saying it just as much.

Why does this happen?

Now for my example, I chose a really lame word. Mostly, just so when I tell you my point I'll sound cooler. Recently, I've been having to stop myself in mid-sentence so I don't use the phrase, "in ages." Example, "I haven't seen that movie in ages!" And everytime I want to say it, I hear it in my head with a British accent. And I think I'm going to stop stopping myself, and use the phrase. Because honestly, its so much cooler than, "in a long time."

The point I'm trying to make?

I have to stop watching YouTube videos of Robert Pattinson.

In other news, Little Ashes is coming to the Ritz in Philadelphia. I haven't been to the Ritz in ages!
