Wife Swap
I'm watching Wife Swap. I watch it almost every day. And I just have one thing to say. It's scary how many crazy people there are out there. And the majority seem to be from Ohio. I would elaborate more on why they are "crazy", but I don't feel like it.

No passion in music anymore, except maybe one..
I'm sitting here listening to Robert Pattinson sing, and I've decided to write about it. Its rare to come across a passionate artist anymore. I mean, obviously they're out there. But the "mainstream" is mostly a bunch of little kids who, yes have good voices, but lack personality and passion. However, Rob is a different story.
Yes, like the majority of Rob fans, I only started being intrigued by Mr. Pattinson when I heard he was going to be in the Twilight movie. I read the books, I went and saw the movie. The end. Until a friend of mine said, "You have to check out the MySpace interview with the dude from Twilight." After that, I immediately started stalking the poor man and googling his name. I was suprised to find out that he was not only an actor, but a musician as well. And a very good musician.
Robert Pattinson sings with more passion than I have heard in a long while. I don't normally get all emotional and whatnot, but I'll take my chances. When I listen to his singing, I can almost feel the same emotion he is putting into his music. He has broadened my music interests, and for that, I thank him. He is simply amazing. No artist ever has ever almost brought me to tears from listening to them sing. And I'm not saying this because he is clearly gorgeous and I want to have his babies. I really mean it.
I'm adding a link to youtube of him singing, I Was Broken written by Marcus Foster. This, in my opinion, is his best. Especially around min 4:18. Listen. Enjoy. Comment.

the Secret Life of an American Teenager
Have you heard of it? A new series on the family channel. I started watching it last season. And as I was watching it tonight, I took notes. (Seriously.) Ok, so its primarly about a 15yr old girl Amy, who gets pregnant by some dude Ricky at band camp. (Stay with me.) Now Amy has a boyfriend, Ben. Ben and Amy decided that they love eachother after like......a week. They want to get married. Their parents, being the smart people they are, say no. So Ben and Amy decide to get fake IDs and elope. Forget the fact that just because you have an ID that says you are over 18, does not legally make you 18. Therefor, you are not legally married. But that's probably because they're only 15 and don't know anything. So, they finally find out they aren't married. Boo hoo...tears ensue. Molly Ringwald plays the mom, and seriously...what the fuck happened to her? I loved her in all her 80s movies. But this? Really? She's horrible. And let's not forget to mention the token Christian girl, waiting to have sex until she's married..who just happens to now be dating the male whore of the school, Ricky. Yep, that Ricky..the one who got poor little virgin Amy preggo. So not we have Jesus freak and Ricky together. And preggo and Ben, who professes his love for her every 2 seconds of the show. How he loves her, and wants to marry her, etc, etc, vomit. You're 15 Ben, what do you know? And then Amy...I never saw a more miserable person. Even when she's happy she looks miserable. Just looking at her makes me want to kill myself. Oh and the twist this season.....baby's daddy father just came into town...and wants to sell the baby.
The point of this post?
I hate this show.
I hope I don't miss next weeks episode.

Dear Blogger,
My first entry. I hope its the first of many. I have been using Livejournal for years but feel I deserve a change. I've been using Livejournal as more of a Dear Diary type of blog. This one is going to be better. Livejournal just seems so.....childish. Now excuse me while I go watch the new episode of Danny Phantom, my favorite cartoon ever. Seriously, a boy who can change into a ghost whenever he wants?! Who wouldn't love that.
